This is the way we brush our teeth?

Of course, there’s more to home care than proper brushing!

Following home care exercises and Oral Hygiene Instruction (OHI) techniques is the cornerstone of all our management strategies. They enable you to retain your teeth, improve oral health and maintain the ability to eat, talk and smile confidently.

The most effective way to begin practicing good home care is to have someone demonstrate effective techniques and products that will make it easier and more effective. We spend the time to educate you, until you are completely comfortable performing these on your own.

Head over to our resources page for videos on OHI, to remind you of the techniques you have been shown.

The objective of home care excercises is to create regular and effective habits that promote healing and maintenance of healthy gum and dental tissues.
